If you have some time to sit on the victim’s machine, then you can make this thing more effective. Why not disable the ability to right click on the desktop? I know I’m getting a bit evil but this is what a prank is.

To disable the ability to right click on the desktop, open Start > Run and type ‘regedit’. The registry editor would pop up. Navigate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ Software\ Microsoft\ Windows\ CurrentVersionPolicies\ Explorer. Now either modify or create a new DWORD named ‘NoViewContextMenu‘ and set the value data to 1. Now, exit the registry editor and restart the computer to allow the changes to take effect. To enable the menu again, set it’s value to 0.

This way the person won’t be able to even right click. You can even disable the Windows key. But I won’t show you how because that’ll make me a devil.
